The Yarn Garden

The days are getting longer, and I can even see that the snow is disappearing!!
So are the days at the Yarn Garden in its downtown location.

Hopefully you have recieved notice about the store closing, and the FINAL
CLEARANCE SALE running Tuesday April 1 through Saturday April 5th, when we will close the doors for the last time on the downtown Yarn Garden experience.  The sale will run April 1-5 from 10 am to 5 pm daily.

The sale includes select store fixtures, garment samples, and even plants.
Also, the entire inventory will be reduced from 40-70%.

As for the future ... we are going to try to offer yarn in new and different ways!

FIRST, by request, Tuesday Night open knitting will continue to meet the first Tuesday of every month at Caribou Coffee, located next to Papa Murphy's, near Home Depot in the Riverdale area.  Everyone is welcome, knitter or crocheter or just coffee drinker/fibre lover.

SECOND, there will be Yarn Garden Remote sales, offering yarn at a private location, at a reduced price, including special orders (typically, you will need to buy 10 skeins of a particular yarn and color). This will be featured by
invitation only.   Again, we'll have more details on this when the final sale
is over.  We will hope to hold the first event at the end of May.

THIRD, now comes Yarn Garden to Go! A unique opportunity to have a yarn sales party in your home (or other location), with project or agenda of your choice. (within reason of course!!)  A customized yarn party for your knitting group at your home or knitting group site-- There are rumors that we will be starting with sock yarn dyeing--The possibilities are endless!! Please call us to talk about the details of what you want your party to be.

In the meantime, hope to see you at the Sale--We have enjoyed meeting and
working with all of you great customers, and this experience has been
wonderful!!  We look forward to more good times together!
